The original 990 designers were tasked with creating the best running shoe on the market. The MADE in USA 990v6 follows that original mandate with several performance-enhancing tweaks. The upper dispenses with the standard midfoot seam so that pigskin and synthetic layers extend from heel to toe over the mesh underlay, creating a stealthy, streamlined look. The new design marks one of the most drastic changes from one generation to the next. This is unprecedented for the 990! The biggest change is on the inside. With the addition of FuelCell cushioning in the midsole, the new 990 looks as good as it feels.

New Balance MADE US shoes are made with at least 70% domestic value added. MADE represents a limited portion of New Balance sales in the United States.
