PUMA x KidSuper: Contemporary Art Meets Football
Since 2020, PUMA has partnered with the New York art collective KidSuper, founded by Colm Dillane, to reimagine football equipment as a true canvas for expression. A bold initiative that fuses performance, creativity, and sports culture.
Origins and DNA of the Collaboration
Colm Dillane, a.k.a. KidSuper, born in New York, is a designer, artist, and former college footballer. In 2020, he embarked on a first collection with PUMA, blending football and art. The project transforms the passion of the field into graphic pieces — colorful jerseys, reimagined sneakers, and avant-garde accessories.
Development: from early experiments to Club World Cup jerseys
2021 – First Football-Art Season
PUMA and KidSuper unveil a collection inspired by street football and the Brazilian club Palmeiras. Among the iconic pieces are the RS‑2K Slip‑On, Mirage Mox, Trailfox with unexpected details (pencil holder, tie-dye laces), and even a co-branded bathrobe.
“PUMA classics are almost unrecognizable, transformed by experimental prints and mix-and-match”
2024 – Sport Club: Football + Fashion
On April 11, 2024, a new line remixes archive silhouettes (Velophasis, Palermo) into football mode, reversible coats, and colorful tracksuits, highlighting jacquard and footballistic motifs.
June 2025 – Club World Cup Collection
The collaboration strengthens with the Club World Cup clubs: Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Palmeiras, Monterrey, Al-Hilal… all dressed in “hand-drawn” watercolor jerseys, reinterpreting the clubs’ visual identity on the field. The boots (FUTURE, ULTRA, KING) are adorned with bold motifs, combining high-performance grip and artistic aesthetics.
